About Dr. Haber-DiBoni

Dr Lorri Haber-DiBoni

When I was young, I was diagnosed with Type I insulin diabetes. I was told that I would have a long, hard road ahead of me. I knew that I would not accept this without a fight and that I would live my life in positive and fulfilling ways. My diagnosis gave me my direction. Instead of my diabetes having a negative impact on my life, I used it to secure my dream of becoming a doctor.

I attended Boston University for my undergraduate degree and found myself in the mecca of high tech medicine and the best diabetic doctors and hospitals in the country. During this time, my health began to deteriorate and I found myself seeing many of the best diabetic doctors. Unfortunately for me these specialists told me that I was through “the honeymoon phase” of my diabetes and that there was not a lot they could do for me.

I would not accept this.

I called a friend in desperation and explained my health problems. She told me that she was going to a chiropractor for her own health problems and how beneficial the visits were. She asked her chiropractor about me and if there was something she could do to help with my diabetes and treatment. I started seeing the chiropractor and receiving chiropractic adjustments. I quickly learned that chiropractic care helps our immune systems. Diabetics have a weakened immune system and chiropractic care helped my immune system become stronger. I had fewer colds, seasonal flu symptoms and other health problems.

I was ecstatic about how chiropractic care helped my own health problems by incorporating both physical and emotional care and support. I decided to become a chiropractor so that I could help others in the ways that my chiropractor helped me.

I am very pleased with all of the help that Dr. Haber-DiBoni has given me. I always feel so much better after I had my treatment. Dr. Haber-DiBoni is a wonderful doctor with an awesome personality.

I went to the National College of Chiropractics and received my degree in Doctor of Chiropractic. After my graduation I met my husband Larry. I explained to him that I might not be able to have children because of my diabetes. I continued with my regular visits to my chiropractor and I am happy to say that I became pregnant very easily.

We now have two wonderful children. Throughout both of my pregnancies I was adjusted and able to continue treating patients until I went into labor. Both of my daughters were adjusted immediately after birth in the delivery room. The chiropractic adjustments help the immune system and keep children and adults healthy. Chiropractic helps all of our organs function properly. If a woman is having difficulty conceiving, chiropractic adjustments may help her body function better and sometimes the woman can conceive.

I become a chiropractor to help others stay healthy. Chiropractic care is indispensable for pain control and maintaining a healthy life style.

I would love the opportunity to work with you, your family and friends and share the benefits of chiropractic care. Please visit our office!
